The Mi-8MTV-1 is the hot-and-high variant of the Mi-8 family.  It has more powerful turboshafts and a portside tail rotor.

Each of our aircraft is identically configured, and being the same make and model of aircraft they are of equal operational performance.

• Three-blade portside tail rotor

• Main rotor collective pitch control linked to throttles

Landing gear: 

• Non-retractable tricycle type 
• Steerable twin-wheel nose unit - locked in flight
• Single wheel on each main unit

Power Plant:

• Two 1,417 kilowatt (1900 horsepower) Isotov TV3-117VM turboshafts

Flight deck:

• Two pilots side-by-side on flight deck, with provision for a flight engineer's station
